Emily Chu

Emily is a fifth year student at the University of British Columbia, majoring in Speech Sciences.
Throughout her studies she has discovered a passion for language acquisition, phonology and
early childhood education practices.

She has experience teaching parent and tot classes as well as organizing and leading day
camp activities for young children and youth in the community.

Emily is excited to pursue a career in speech language pathology and values creating inclusive
spaces that support every client throughout their speech journey. She is looking forward to
contributing to the community and team while receiving mentorship from experienced clinicians.
Emily enjoys spending her free time baking or getting outdoors.
